Hi Band, since the September holidays are coming up, I thought I'll post up an 'E-Music Lesson' here. :p

Lesson #1: Don't allow anyone to tell put you down.

The musicians in the above video are only primary school kids! Above that, there's only so few of them, and they are all playing without their music score! Yet none of them are afraid to play out. Be confident, strive to acheive your personal best this year, in band. You MUST improve and play better than you did last year. DARE to be different, DARE to be outstanding.

Lesson #2: MOVE FAST.

Have some sense of urgency and initiative. We can all save a lot of time, and get a lot more things done! :)

Lesson #3: Sometimes, the audience 'listen' with their eyes.

For others to enjoy the music you're making, you must first enjoy it! Look at the musicians in this video- It's evident that they are totally enjoying the music-making process! Let's put some thought into the attitude we bring to band, and aim to give off 101% of ourselves all the time!

Lesson #4: There is strength in numbers.

This piece of music is exactly the same as the one in Lesson #3. It is also played by the same band, except that the numbers have increased A LOT this time round. There is more strength when we put our hearts and minds together, to work towards a common goal. Can you feel the their band spirit soaring in the air as they perform?
